The project "Ferienzeit" is inspired by the song of the same name by Hildegard Knef (from the 1971 album Worum geht’s hier eigentlich?). "Ferienzeit" presents a staged episode of a fictional German radio program from the 1970s about holidays in the Balearic Islands.

The storyline incorporates archival material from the Deutschlandradio Archive and dramatised fictional stories inspired by materials from the Casa Planas Archive from the 1970s. The piece details the establishment of a new post-war "status quo" imposed by the media. It offers an economic-cultural narrative that led to a catastrophic ecological development.
