Marcela Villanueva is a cultural manager curator curator, and producer based in Berlin, Germany. She leads Karne Kunst, a platform through which she develops exhibitions, residencies, and support programs for artists and contemporary cultural projects. She manages spaces such as Bardo Projektraum, an art gallery in Berlin, and The Pocket, a micro-gallery open 24/7 inside a hotel, where she explores new exhibition formats and ways of engaging with the public. Her work focuses on creating concrete opportunities for artists—especially migrants—by connecting artistic production with funding, networks, and visibility.

In her talks, she shares practical tools for developing projects and accessing funding in Germany, combining real-world experience, clear strategies, and an honest perspective on how to sustain an artistic practice in the European context.
