Born in Orihuela, Alicante, her connection to the coast and the boundaries of space, as well as her childhood visits to the shipyards in Cartagena (Spain), shaped her themes of history, war, the coast and mining, and their relationship with the landscape and society.

Since then, this connection with the Mediterranean has spread throughout the Balearic Islands. Between 2019 and 2022, he photographed the bunkers of Mallorca with the support of the Fundació Miró Mallorca (1st Prize at the 2019 Pilar Juncosa Biennial), a project which continued in Menorca thanks to the Consell
Insular (2020). During his artist residency at CC Andratx, Mallorca (2024), he researched the island’s geology; both fields – the military and the geological – have been linked at the Residencia Tabacalera in the Casa Planas Archive, Mallorca.

In 2025, the Navy intercepted the Russian warsubmarine Novorossiysk in the waters off the Balearic Islands; a few months earlier, an act of sabotage had taken place on the undersea cable in the Scandinavian region. The artist has created a historical dialogue between military control of submarines and control of undersea communications, drawing on the materials and resources that must be used to build these elements and the infrastructure for control and power. This project ties in with his research in Andratx on the extraction of minerals on the island, such as lignite, and on the concentrations of metal sulphides (copper, iron and zinc) on the island of Menorca – chalcopyrite, accompanied by malachite and azurite – as a metaphor for the need to supply these materials to the technology industry.
