The Fundació Casa Planas is inviting applications to participate in the Experience Panel at the conference The Role of Archives in Contemporary Creation, a program developed in conjunction with the Panoràmic Festival, which since 2023 has been promoting spaces for reflection, exchange, and presentation of projects related to the artistic use of archives.

In this edition, and thanks to the support of the Euroregion Pyrenees-Mediterraneanthe session will focus on projects linked to the territories of Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, and Occitania. The aim is is to activate archives as spaces for research, experimentation, and cultural production, generating networks between creators and institutions that work with memory, images, and documentary heritage.

Who it is aimed at:

The call is aimed at artists, researchers, and cultural collectives who develop projects related to the use, activation, or reinterpretation of archives.
Projects that are in development or have been completed in the last four years are accepted provided that they propose an innovative approach to archives and maintain a connection with the Euroregional territory (Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, or Occitania).

Fees

Ten projects will be selected..
Each project will include a 15-minute oral presentation with visual support nd will receive a fee of €150in addition to being promoted on the festival's channels and those of the organizing entities.

Dates

The selected projects will be presented in an online session on October 22, 2026 as part of the COSTA Observatory Conference.
