Joan Fontcuberta collected damaged photographic material, negatives, and transparencies to eventually incorporate into his project Trauma, which focuses on "sick" or "amnesiac" photographs where the informational content is compromised, leaving only the aesthetic quality of chemical degradation.

He participated in the roundtable “Mecanismes de ficció històrica” (Mechanisms of historical fiction) at Club Diari de Mallorca and conducted a masterclass at Casa Planas.
