The project is an audiovisual investigation based on video interviews and conversations around the themes of identity and mobility, using selected photographs from the Planas Archive.

People with biographies spanning multiple countries and languages, focusing on Spanish and German, discuss topics such as memory, home, nostalgia, language, and image. The encounters between these people, cameras, microphones, and photographs aim to open up discourses and discussions about the collection of images in the archive.

Rather than abstract theories or elaborate thoughts, the project presents personal experiences and everyday stories. It is also an attempt to approach the themes of migration and the blending of cultures in a very subjective way, based on memories and storytelling. People speak about old dressers, palm tree trips, imperfect tattoos, untranslatable words...
