As an artist I consider myself part of a community where precariousness and illegitimization continue to be the order of the day. This motivates us to migrate continuously. My theoretical-practical project Apology of sustainability (WaterWindows), is in its third phase and currently I focus on the ideas of migration and water, the research is centered around the people who transported water (water carriers, washerwomen) and migration. Another axis of this project is the closer reality of the lack of water. Examples of how the aquifers are drying up all over the peninsula, or the overexploitation of water in the islands (Balearic and Canary Islands) for mass tourism, this project proposes an approach to the idea of subaltern research from the performative, accompanied by live singing music. An installation of chanters and projections will be proposed together with a series of performances linked to the different communities of residence. The idea of carrying chanters in the head and photographing the action, would be one of the final results-production. At the same time, the event-research of all those linked to the residency will be recited and sung.
