The development of his work is speculative and tries to evoke the character of four German artists: Grete Stern, Hanne Darboven, Hans-Peter Feldmann and Martin Kippenberger. Through them he seeks his voice at the root of a genealogy that moves between obsessive repetition and humor, between numerical parody and the unconscious. A reading of the Planas Archive, a polyphony, a multiform and wooded possibility where the gaze and authorship become uncertainties and compliments. In the installation he works with each of the artists who, together, make a choral piece. Theatricals formed by superimposed images to call Grete Stern and her representations of dreams; an installation on the wall where repetition makes evident the mathematical, critical and counterproductive impulse of Hanne Darboven; a projection of shadows and a sequence of repeated kisses to cite the caustic humor of Hans-Peter Feldmann; an accumulation of furniture in the workspace and an appropriation of Balearic psychobuildings to call the “strategist and buffoon” embodied by Martin Kippenberger.
