Laia Ventayol began her residency on February 28th. Her project “Peterpillerian Studies” is based on the relationship between the practice of the German artist Peter Piller, who explores when archives are decontextualized, and the Planas Archive.

The project Estudios peterpillerianos (2024) is a three-way visual dialogue: Peter Piller, Josep Planes and Laia Ventayol. The research began by visualizing Archiv Peter Piller - Zeitung (2008), an artist's book by the German author. From 1994 to 2005, Piller was responsible for the analysis and archiving of more than 150 regional newspapers in the communication department of a news agency in Hamburg.
