Les fotografies mostren com Mallorca, Menorca, Eivissa i Formentera van passar de ser territoris rurals i poc coneguts a convertir-se en un de les destinacions tur\u00edstiques m\u00e9s m\u00edtiques del Mediterrani. A trav\u00e9s del seu treball, Planas no sols va captar la bellesa dels paisatges i la vida quotidiana, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 va contribuir a construir l'imaginari tur\u00edstic de les illes que continua vigent en els nostres dies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aquesta nova edici\u00f3 incorpora documentaci\u00f3 i fotografies in\u00e8dites, en blanc i negre i color, conservades en l'Arxiu Planas, juntament amb material del volum original publicat en 2005 per l'editorial Lunwerg, actualment descatalogat.
